Bowyer Group are suppliers and resellers of quarried rock material products & machinery.
Bowyer Group Pty Ltd is a local family owned business and has been operating in Cape York for approximately 23 years.
Darcy senior and Tina started out in the trucking industry transporting livestock, then with their three children went into carting general freight and supplies to properties and communities in Cape York.
After many years they moved onto the hire of Heavy Machinery, Prime Movers and Side-Tippers, Mobile Crushing and the supply and delivery of assorted Rock Quarry materials.
Bowyer Group is a major wholesaler/retailer of quarried and road based products with an in-house distribution and delivery network.
They continue to seek and acquire and develop new areas of extraction throughout the Northern region, as well as increasing its market in other areas of Queensland.
Along with the Quarry at Archer River, the Musgrave Quarry site is expected to be up and running by mid to late 2013.
The Quarry and Construction Division have constructed and maintained a variety of material processing plants for Bowyer Group.
The Company employs up to 30 staff and contractors at their Head Office and across work site locations.
The Company believes that with approved reserves at various sites, with in excess of 100 million tonnes of new resources being continually sought, they expect to play an even larger role as a supplier of Quarried Blended products, hire of plant and equipment as well as transportation of product to the surrounding areas in Cape York.
Bowyer Group Pty Ltd has completed various screening and crushing projects throughout Cape York including airports, dams, re-sheets and upgrades with Rio Tinto, Cook Shire Council, Main Roads, Pioneer, FGF, NQCEC, Boral and other private contracters, as well as local communities such as Lockhart, Coen, Injinoo, Pormpuraaw, Aurukun, NPARC and local properties.
